  • Ohio Immigrant Hotline: Call 419.777.HELP (4357) or email hotline@ohioimmigrant.org to report ICE activity, detentions, or enforcement abuses.

  • CRIS Legal/Detention Line: Call 380.LAW.CRIS (380.529.2747) 
    • (Mon–Fri, 8:30 AM–4:30 PM) for assistance with detained family members and legal inquiries in the Columbus area.
  • ICE Detainee Locator: Use the official online ICE Detainee Locator to find an individual currently held in federal immigration custody.

  • ACLU Ohio: Immigrants’ Rights.
    • The ACLU of Ohio is dedicated to expanding and protecting the civil liberties and civil rights of immigrants and to combat public and private discrimination against them.

    • Freedom for Immigrants is an immigrant-led, abolitionist organization committed to ending immigration incarceration.
  • The National Immigration Detention Hotline

    • To access the hotline, please dial 9233# from a facility phone. 

    • Available inside every Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) detention facility. This includes privately-operated detention facilities, county jails contracted with ICE, and Bureau of Prisons (BOP) and other federal facilities detaining people for ICE. 

    • Open between 8am-8pm PT / 11am-11pm ET every Monday – Friday
