EMDR Consultation

Thank you for your interest in EMDR consultation. I am a Certified EMDR Therapist and Approved Consultant through the EMDR International Association (EMDRIA). I am the Director of the EMDR Therapy Training for BIPOC Clinicians program and network faculty member with The Institute for Creative Mindfulness. I currently provide the foundational EMDR Therapy training for BIPOC identified clinicians. 

My clinical experiences include work with complex trauma/PTSD, residential alcohol and drug treatment, inpatient psychiatric hospitalization, life transitions, racial and ethnic specific trauma and identity issues, LGBTQIA+ issues, depression, dissociation, anxiety, sexual assault and childhood sexual abuse. My clinical practice has primarily focused on the treatment of adolescents and adults. Throughout my career, I have provided local and national training focused on the impacts of trauma and its effects on individuals, communities, and families-with a special focus on historically marginalized and oppressed populations. In collaboration with EMDR therapy, I use a variety of expressive and experiential therapeutic interventions all aimed at identifying and celebrating the strengths of each person. 

Providing EMDR consultation is one of the highlights of my professional identity. I love the opportunity to meet new clinicians and work collaboratively towards their EMDR goals. I believe that the experience of consultation should allow for the  identification and elevation of clinical strength and ability. I work hard to offer an environment of professional camaraderie, emotional safety and clinical curiosity.
