I am a proud graduate of The Ohio State University, with a master’s degree in Social Work and undergraduate degrees in Sociology and Women’s, Gender and Sexuality Studies.

Throughout my career I have had the enormous privilege of working with clients and their families in a variety of inpatient and outpatient  settings. My clinical experiences include work with complex trauma/PTSD, residential alcohol and drug treatment, inpatient psychiatric hospitalization, life transitions, racial and ethnic specific trauma and identity issues, LGBTQIA+ issues, depression, college counseling, dissociation, anxiety, sexual assault and childhood sexual abuse. My clinical practice has primarily focused on the treatment of adolescents and adults. In addition to EMDR therapy, I use a variety of expressive, humanistic and experiential therapeutic interventions all aimed at identifying and celebrating the strengths of each person.

It is my honor to create space for healing, liberation and growth. I believe that we are all entitled to experiences of joy, satisfaction, peace and balance. If you would like to learn more about any of the services I provide, please reach out.

Professional & Community Training

Throughout my career, I have provided local and national training focused on the impacts of trauma and its effects on individuals, communities, and families. I continue to provide professional training and education as a co-owner of The Ohio Institute for Trauma and Wellness. EMDR Therapy

Discovered by Dr. Francine Shapiro, eye movement desensitization and reprocessing (EMDR) therapy is one of the most researched and utilized methods in the treatment of post-traumatic stress disorder (PTSD) and other distressing life events. EMDR can also be effectively used to treat other symptom presentations.
